Status: Fixed

Status: Pending

Reported: Oct 23, 2026
Seen in version: 0.1.8.24 and earlier

What happened: Fire rate research and fire rate cards on the Laser do not make it stronger: the beam always ticks at the same rate.

What was expected: Fire rate upgrades make the Laser's beam do more damage.

How often: Every time.

Where it stands: Fix in progress for the next version.

Fixed in 0.1.8.25 (Oct 23, 2026, 8:53 AM Eastern).

Fire rate research and cards (and every other fire rate bonus) now make the Laser's beam do more damage. The beam still ticks at the same rate, so its heat is unchanged.
