## dman, 2026-10-20

Status: Fixed in 0.1.8.6

Reported: Oct 19, 2026
Fixed: Oct 19, 2026 in 0.1.8.6
Seen in version: 0.1.8.5 and earlier

What happened: Settings > About > Check for updates said version 1.4.9, a number from an old server.

What was expected: It shows whether a newer version of the game is out.

What was fixed: Check for updates now asks the website for the latest build. Copies from the website can download the update and install it themselves: Download update, then Restart to update. Your saves are not touched.
