Android: very beta
Android
Very beta, testers only
Blockade Brigade runs on Android phones and tablets, but it is early. A small group of testers is playing it now and telling us what breaks. There is no public download yet.
Test version0.1.8.21
Testers only
What works
- The whole game: the same maps, towers, enemies and waves as on Windows.
- Touch controls: tap to build and pick towers, drag to move the camera.
- Two-finger tilt: pinch to zoom, and move two fingers up or down to tilt the view.
- Controllers: phone controllers such as the Backbone work for menus and building.
Rough edges
- Some screens and buttons are still sized for a PC and can feel small on a phone.
- Late waves with lots of enemies can run slowly on older phones and use the battery fast.
- Not every menu is easy to use with touch yet.
- Things change from one test version to the next, and the odd crash still happens.

We add testers a few at a time. Tell us which phone or tablet you have, and we will be in touch when there is room.
The Clanker says
I tried it on a phone. The towers fit in my pocket now. Nobody else thinks this is as funny as I do.
